Contemporary Photography That Speaks To Your Event
What is Pailas Media Photography?
The Mission
The passage of time allows for Pailas Media Photography's mission to run free. At its core, the company photographs not just for important events booked on a calendar and celebratory efforts-but for moments that remind people of the faces and spaces they resonate with. These are the spaces and faces they already may be familiar with, or the new ones they dare step into.
Below we'll see a little more about what Pailas Media Photography does, as well as the three industry efforts that the company strives towards, known as the three pillars. These support the mission and strengthen the photography industry as a whole.
Based in Morris County
Pailas Media Photography is an event photography company based in Morris County, NJ that works alongside corporations, non-profit organizations, and associations. With an educational background and practical approach, company founder Chris Pailas photographs everything from conferences and mixers for associations and corporations, to galas and parties for those that believe in supporting and celebrating one another.
Adaptability
The photography industry relies on adaptability. Whether it's photographing a reception in a hotel ballroom or a company celebration at a venue, it's vital to have a basic understanding of each facility's layout, as well as its parameter, in order to best light our subjects. Professional photography begins with a rigorous understanding of light and nothing else, so understanding different layouts only brings clarity to lighting efforts. Adaptability also means knowing when to step away, or when to lean in to get the candid shot. When to listen, or when to fire the shutter and get the photo of the speaker at a social event.
Efficiency
The photography industry relies on a sense of urgency. This is nearly an entire industry of entrepreneurs. While this doesn't include rushing our creative process for those we're fortunate enough to serve, what it does include is responding to them on time and delivering photos efficiently after a conference or company party. Because this isn't the 20th Century anymore, everything relies more heavily on time.
Collaboration
The photography industry relies on collaborative efforts. In an industry full of entrepreneurs, it's crucial to consider our various support networks. This could include reaching out to a local photographer in town to ask a question, or a community of people to get involved with. Introvert or extrovert, people need other people to thrive.
